Currently, I serve as the Republican Party County Chairman for Johnson County, bringing 12 years of experience in community leadership and strategic development in fulfilling this role. I have lived in Burleson and now reside in Cleburne as a 30 year resident of Johnson County. I have a passion for the county and its people. 

My position as County Chairman has brought opportunities my way that led to spearheading specific initiatives:

•  State Convention in 2020. During the Covid-19 shutdown, being tasked with leading a committee to find a location for Johnson County to participate via online voting and internet meetings, a successful convention was held.

• When Judge Wayne Bridewell retired, the executive committee members of Johnson and Somervell counties were required to select and appoint a replacement. Working with county officials, precinct chairs and the Republican State Party staff, training and committee meetings were organized and held to accomplish this task of serving the constituents of Johnson and Somervell counties.  I was proud to be seated as the Chairman to lead the election of this appointment.

I am most proud to be a strong advocate for fair elections. A County Chairman's #1 duty in this role is to act as the conducting authority of Primary Elections.  In 2014, I initiated a training program for elected Precinct Chairmen which is accessible on the JCRP.ORG website.  As we approached the 2016 election cycle, I developed an election worker training that is still used today with updates included regarding new laws passed during the legislative sessions.  This initiative led to the development of an election worker recruitment website JCEWTX.COM  As your elected representative, I am a member of the Johnson County Election Board and Election Council serving in a significant role as the Republican Party County Chairman.
